"Ghost Plane" is what my brother, Bob Deever, SMsgt (ret) USAF, and I call this World War II era aircraft.

Recently, it flew into the Million Air ramp in Topeka, Kansas, and exuded mystery to all current and former military personnel sighting it in the Forbes Field area.

Bob took the foundation photo which, in color, retains the plane's hidden secrets . . . but Bob complained that the moon wasn't large enough.

So, I scanned the foundation photo into my computer:

* transferred it into black and white

* disassembled the photo into a couple of elements

* enlarged the moon beyond scientific proof

* formatted it, layered some filters - roughed it up a little

. . . and now, I'm appealing to you, my contacts, who have military experience and knowledge of aircraft history to help me identify this plane . . . by its nose.

Please help us solve this mystery - if you'd be so kind.  Thank you!
