Collaborations with C M Deever (our mother)

Cascade Above The Celtic Pool

Above Pistyll Rhaeadr, in the Welsh Berwyn Mountains, resides Gwyn ap Nudd – king of the fae folk and the Celtic Otherworld. He and his people live in a white, shining palace and tempt unwitting travelers into his world with gluttonous feasts and fanciful dancing. From the pool beneath, we, of strong resolve, search the sky for Gwyn’s ghostly invitation to feast on ancient hopes. Foundation photo by C M (Scotty) Deever

The Minstrel And His Dragonfly

This image was originally created for a groom for his bride – on their wedding day. Now, it is a much-loved image by all who remember a romance that still lies in their hearts. Foundation photo by CM (Scotty) Deever - taken more than 40 years ago on the West Coast, USA.

Autumn Trail

Home is at the end of color and quiet. The foundation photo for this image is more than 40 years old and taken in New England by our mother. After scanning it into my computer, I pulled out the color and provided a bit more saturation. In cleaning up the image, the lines became more visible. Foundation photo by C M (Scotty) Deever

Windswept Other World (Infrared)

I found a rusted-colored photo of this image among our mothers treasures. I don’t know where she took it, but the timeframe seemed to be 45 to 50 years ago. I cleaned it up to her satisfaction – to cheer her memories . . . and then, she let me transform it into this infrared, black and white view of a world that surely must be ours . . . somewhere in the universe. Windswept Other World (Off White)

I found a rusted-colored photo of this image among my mothers treasures. I don't know where she took it, but the timeframe seemed to be 45 to 50 years ago. I cleaned it up to her satisfaction - to cheer her memories . . . and then, she let me transform it into this view of a world that surely must be ours . . . somewhere in the universe. Peaks and Valleys (Color Version of Windswept World)

“Peaks and Valleys” reveals a windswept, other world where clouds float before the eyes and lighten the colors arbitrarily and without warning. Foundation photo by CM (Scotty) Deever

Mountains As We Would Have Them Be . . .

. . . they gently blend calm and confidence into all you see. Principal photography by C M (Scotty) Deever

Corazon Amoroso

. . . what you feel when love goes wild. Foundation photograph by CM (Scotty) Deever

Pale Moon's Rise Above The Shore

The Pale Moon, rises above the water, and watches through the night to guard your peace until the night is over. Foundation photos by CM (Scotty) Deever and Bob Deever

Castles For Our Mothers

Treasured is the mother who remains steadfast in time of trial – for when she has overcome, she will receive the crown of life – which Heaven has promised to those who show grace under fire. Foundation photo by CM (Scotty) Deever

Spring Warms The Blue

Rain melts life-giving water . . . cleans dirt from the past . . . and sends lovers into doorways for an unexpected kiss. Let us welcome the coming change . . . and find a doorway. Foundation photo by CM (Scotty) Deever

Purple Mountains, Golden Peaks

The purple mountains, peaked with gold, roll gently toward the sea . . . come away from the stone dry-lands, away from the lonely roads and withered lilies . . . and climb the glistening rise above our hopes – where we will, more safely, be. Foundation photograph by CM (Scotty) Deever

Wise Moon Hovers Over Home

The wise moon hovers over home . . . so fitting for the day when our loved ones return. Foundation photos by CM (Scotty) Deever

Wise Moon's Glory Through The Fog

“Wise Moon’s Glory Through The Fog” . . . all is well. Foundation photos by Bob Deever and C M (Scotty) Deever

Wise Moon's Eternal Watch On The Shore Edit

The Wise Moon, beaming on the water, reminds us of what God assures us as every night falls. Foundation photos by Bob Deever and C M (Scotty) Deever)
