Art Makes The Fantasy Real

“Where The Troll Lives” depicts the old lands, where fairies and wizards, giants and dragons color the human kingdom.   In that mysterious world, there is a cave on the side of a bouldered hill . . . and, in that cave, there lives a troll.

The wizards’ wand cast his face in ugliness.  The giants trouble his sleep with the stomping of their searching feet.  Dragons fly above his grassy roof, setting his hope for peaceful work on fire. . . .

But the fairies – the fairies sing and dance in his doorway, praising his skill, thanking him for their magic shoes - and throwing him kisses of love.  All in all, the troll wants to live - no other life.
