Art Makes The Dry Forest . . . Bloom

“Scarecrow Tree” was named based upon how the tree looked in the original photograph.  It appeared dry, bent in brittle kind of ways.

When I took the photograph, I was focused only on the lines – how they seemed to argue and twist into each other.

My computer gave the tree more options of what a tree – that looked like a scarecrow – could aspire to be.  With color, the branches separated and swelled with life-filled pride.

The tree is – now – what it prefers to be . . . and doesn’t care what it’s named.
