In The Shadow Of Beauty, 16 x 20

The original photo that provided the foundation of this work is between 40 and 50 years old, taken by my mother (now 91).

The photo was cropped and toned for a foundation that would allow many versions of it to be created from it.

Upon determining a base look, I then experimented with 20 to 60 versions of it - changing colors, applying filters, embedding additional images, digitally painting them and transforming them from a recognizable photograph into this altogether new work.
