FOR THE ROOM THAT INFUSES THE UNFAMILIAR WITH HOPE

“WISE MOON’S MERCY ON DRY LAND” is a composite of 3 photographs created from those originally taken by our mother (CM Deever) and brother (Bob Deever). 

The purpose of our artworks is to comfort and encourage people where they live and work. 

As this image was developing in front of me, I thought of those I serve.  It occurred to me that, in the heat of a moment - one can look up at the frosted moon . . . that in the dark of memory - there is a future of flight . . . that across an arid landscape - there is the hope in you.
