The story of “The Cupboard’s Treasures”: After she had been taken to the church yard, no one was allowed into her room . . . except the little ones.
She stated clearly in her Will that all little family members, under the age of 12, were permitted to go into the room where her treasure cupboard waited - with intrigue and various levels of shine.
To this day, we have no idea what is in that cupboard – because family members, under the age of 12, can only giggle and hide their faces when asked.
The room is not locked – nor was it ever. Yet all older members of the family behave according to the honor code.
So, no one goes into her room - except the little ones.
