"Rim of Reverence" was originally named: "To sleep, perchance to dream . . . " (Yikes - right?)
Since that quote has a less than cheerful meaning according to most students of Shakespeare's famous Hamlet, Act-III - I didn't burden this image with that sentiment.
Yet, here some of us are - surrounded by snow - lots of it. So, a couple of days ago, I went into my "Go To" digital file. (That's my file where I put all of my photos that have uplifting possibilities.)
I found the foundation photo for this image, which made me nostalgic for a warming, blossoming - encouraging environment. Still, there's something about this image that makes me think of peaceful sleep and hope-filled dreams. (See the brighter path that leads to optimism?)
It's maybe not a good idea to mess with Shakespeare. One should leave well enough alone.
Still, I'm thinking that if Shakespeare had been writing "Hamlet" in a welcoming location, where warm breezes lulled him into delightful dreams inside a long, easy nap . . . Hamlet might have lived - as well as everyone else.
