Art's Island of Peace

Even on the "Island Volcano", where the threat of explosion, fire and noxious fumes steal the peace . . . pristine air and water, fragrant flora, and a sense of "whole" prevails.

The eruption loses energy.  The fire ends at the sea.  The air clears - to revive and renew.

So, they coexist - the fruitful land and the angry mountain.  Those who live on the border between trust and terror - know when to run . . . when to circle back . . . and when to sail away.
