Artists Need Friends

APPRECIATION DAY:

People, driven by purpose, need friends – those who help you put the gear in “forward” when neutral is more comfortable . . . who gently guide you on paths where they have been (and show you where you might find snakes) . . . who ask the questions that only you can answer.

Connie Herrman Sterrett is such a friend.  She goes out on photo shoots with me – to help me find the beautiful, avoid the dangerous, keep me from tripping over lack of focus . . . then, we share pizza.

I’m grateful that she kindly urges me to do the things I don’t want to do . . . so, that I can create what my heart desires.
