For my friends in Europe, this my last view – leaving Paris – returning to southern Germany.

All one can see now are villages in the distance - anchored by towers of churches.

Through memories filtered through kindness, tolerance and more than one glass of wine-colored imagination . . . one can see the beauty of people who welcome strangers – unexpectedly so.
