“r.b. Branchin Beltway” was created in collaboration with Garry Worthington, my brother-in-law.

He photographed this redbud tree in color – and there are so many artistic options in that world.

But when I first saw it – I saw it in black and white . . . with limbs, angled and twisting up, so proud of their power and destiny.

So, he let me transform it into this other world – where we are meant to feel certain and unafraid.
