FOR THE ROOM WHERE ANYONE CAN PLAY

“THE BLUE CABOOSE” 

Some of my artworks are intended to be hung in play rooms for children . . . or in the private rooms of those who are children at heart.

From the poem, "Skimbleshanks: The Railway Cat" is this verse:

" . . .  And when you creep into your cosy berth

And pull up the counterpane,

You ought to reflect that it's very nice

To know that you won't be bothered by mice—

You can leave all that to the Railway Cat,

The Cat of the Railway Train ! . . . "
