Art Creates Worlds We Can Live In

This “Windswept World Beyond A Distant Dream” is the 5^th digital painting I’ve created from a foundation photograph my mother took in America’s West nearly 50 years ago.

When looking at the original, one could become thirsty from the arid-brown sand and sweat - in remembered heat.  One could look on the horizon and see no road out . . .

but, this world has cool, sweet water in the blue – and little paths to dreams-come-true on the horizon.

It’s the worlds we create that help us live in the one we have.
