I was raised in Kansas – Heart Of America.  The Truck was more than a vehicle – and if you were driving in one, you felt more secure.

My father, a Methodist minister, wasn’t afraid of much . . . and, when he drove a truck, he wasn’t afraid of storms.

Still, he did respect nature – and it’s higher power.  When his purpose required that he drive through storms, he shifted down and drove a little slower.
