“SECRET RENDEZVOUS” 

My next book, “STARLINGS OF PEACE”, begins in 1949 – near the end of the Berlin Airlift.  The book follows the careers of four men and their families:  an American pilot, a French translator, a British intelligence officer, and a German prisoner-turned-colleague.

As these lead characters are wondering what they will do when the Airlift concludes, the British officer writes to his fiancée in England and quotes William Butler Yeats, “How many loved your moments of glad grace, And loved your beauty with love false or true; But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you, And loved the sorrows of your changing face . . . "
