FOR THE ROOM THAT CONQUERS GRAY

“FLOW TO THE SEA – 3”

My mother took the foundation photograph for this digital artwork in Hawaii more than 40 years ago. 

The day was gray.  She was surprised, because Hawaii is famous for its vibrant color and joy.

She took the photo anyway. 

For Mom, I painted the day as she would have wanted it to be.
