Self-discipline requires me to experiment with as many ideas as come to mind – even when an idea is so obviously bad. 

I love this artwork.  Warning:  it includes a terrible idea that grew into a terrible experiment.  So, one of you is going to ask, “If the idea was so bad, why did you work with it?” 

Answer:  Some bad ideas are irresistible.
